About me
The world of interiors has bought me joy and awe since childhood. I am passionate about creating spaces that invoke joy, feel inspiring, create connection and enhance wellbeing, and for me the home environment it the epitome of this.
With fifteen years’ professional experience, five in commercial interiors within a design and build practice, I am looking to fully embrace what truly brings me more joy than anything else - residential interiors. I am intentionally seeking a role where I can learn from motivated and experienced designers while supporting a team and the design process in a meaningful way, from concept development and sourcing through to the careful detailing and on-site management that brings a home together.
After re-training as an interior designer in 2017, I worked within commercial interiors designing workplaces for five years. The fast-paced environment was an incredible learning experience; running solo projects after a few months and being promoted to senior designer after three years. I truly loved being able to understand a clients’ needs and bring and empty space to life with a designs that had to be both highly functional and beautiful. After taking the leap to career change, I was incredibly proud to be included in Mix Interiors ‘30 under 30’ designers in 2019.
Alongside my design experience, I am an accredited coach and certified in holistic and integrative health. These experiences have shaped how I work with people: I listen deeply, value empathy and bring a thoughtful, human-centred perspective to my design practice. I believe homes have the power to support how people live, feel and relate to one another, and I approach design with this sensitivity at the forefront.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring antique and flea markets, travel and new cultures, spending slow time in nature and hiking and skiing in beautiful mountains.
